Things Left Undone

So many people are wasting their lives in foolish pursuits –– all the more absurd as their time on this earth nears completion. There is never enough time to finish all the projects or do everything you want to in this life –– it just passes by too fast. When you die there will be things left undone.

But if the focus and priority of your life is to do His will, then you can be at peace because the time He allots you will be sufficient to accomplish His purpose. Just be sure to make wise choices and worthwhile pursuits so you have no regrets. Live your live to the full without being a fool. Make the fruit of your life have eternal significance.

Goal Oriented

I am a goal oriented person who is highly motivated to accomplish challenging feats. For instance, I always wanted to experience every imaginable adventure. When I became a Christian, I set a goal to share the Gospel in every country of the world. I also intend to write many more books which I have been working on over the years. The intense desire to achieve these and many other goals has kept me motivated and made life exciting.

The reality is that many of my goals would be impossible to achieve, except that I believe in a God who can make the impossible possible! For example, during a time of prayer and fasting in January, 2000, I felt led of the Lord to blitz the world that year with the Gospel. As the year was rapidly coming to an end it appeared hopeless because of limited funds. And then the third week of December, 2000, Unshackled aired my dramatized testimony worldwide and that elusive goal was fulfilled.

The Lord does not always do it as expected, or when – but He is always faithful!

God's Not Done Yet

Not to worry; not to fret,

God’s not done with you yet.

There are still some things He wants to do,

His purpose for you is not quite through.

But one day soon this life will be past,

and everything He promised will come true at last.

Excitement forever and adventures galore,

with endless time this universe to explore.

And oh, how our God has planned so much more,

for those who have opened to Him their heart’s door.

One day all those injuries accumulated over the years,

will be wiped away along with all tears.

Then all of creation will give Him praise and loud cheer,

for there will be peace and joy and no more fear.

Forever in His presence and beholding His face,

and now you know why I accepted His amazing grace.
