Judgment Draws Near
All around us we see a world given over to every sexual perversion imaginable. We are living in the midst of a culture in which people, driven by an insatiable appetite for erotica, unsuccessfully attempt to satisfy their unquenchable lusts for sexual gratification. The Bible says ––
Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more (Ephesians 4:19).
Today’s decadent society is taking sexual immorality to new levels of perversion. And it is only going to get worse because people during the Tribulation will refuse to repent of their immorality (Revelation 9:21).
In Noah’s time, God “saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time” (Genesis 6:5). Is it any wonder God destroyed the world by a flood?
How close are we today to having our world cleansed by fire because of rampant immorality and wickedness? How near are we to the unleashing of the cataclysmic judgments described in the Book of Revelation?
